For the first time since her husband died on Saturday morning, actress Lorna Tolentino gave a statement to ABS-CBN News.
Tolentino’s spouse, Philippine “Action Prince” Rudy Fernandez, passed away 6:15 a.m. Saturday, after a two-year battle with periampullary cancer.
“It’s a life well-lived and a life well-ended. Siguro kung ano man yung who he was and what he made… when gratitude came to life… kaya unang-una maraming-maraming salamat po sa lahat,” she said.
Asked what Fernandez’ last message to her was, Lorna replied with a smile: “I love you. Yun.”
